Nouns (Countable and Uncountable) and Pronouns

Singular Nouns
1.      Do not end singular nouns with –s/-es
2.      Use singular nouns after the words a,an,one,this, that, a single, another, each, every
3.      Singular countable nouns usually need articles. Use the with singular countable nouns referred to specific things.

Plural Nouns
1.      The plural form of most nouns is made by adding –s/-es
2.      When words such as hundred, thousand or million follow a number, do not put in a plural form.
3.      Irregular plural nouns do not come with –s/es.

Nouncount/Uncountable nouns
1.      Uncountable nouns are nouns that have only  one form and take a singular verb
Example: rice, sugar, blood, mathematics, economics, news, furniture.
2.      Do not use uncountable nouns after the words below:
Example: a few (of), many (of), every one of, each one of, dozens of, hundreds of, thousands of, a number of, a couple of.
3.      Use uncountable nouns with the words below.

Example: much, little, a little, a amount of, all*, some*, a lot of*, lots of*, plenty of* (*do not put uncountable plural nouns)
